You are manipulating your hair too much to soon . You will have slippage and yes I have the same hair texture. I pray you have done more research. I combed mine out after 9 months, 2 months to do that and will be getting them redone into micro locs. Let your hair get wet in the morning. And it's going to take a while.

Thank you I’m 5 months in and i have mt good days and not so great days with my hair! The expectation I had completely when out the window because my hair is doing what it wants. The bunching I think is my biggest hurdle and not having control. It’s teaching me about letting go and having patience and really trusting the process. Thank you for this video

I tried locking my hair but the next day it was curly. What dis you do and use to start your loc journey. My hair refuses to loc. As soon as it gets moist it curls up and comes loose.

I'm glad you posted this. My daughter has 3/b/c hair and I want to lock her hair. My other daughter has 4b and I did micro interlocks on her and I love it. I think based on what I see on your journey I will interlock her hair as well vs palmroll. Thanks for sharing.

I'm a boy mom and started locs on my twins 12 birthday in April. Had my first retwist on my birthday in June. It's so much easier with having 3 boys that now I don't have to worry about my hair. Just get up take my bonnet off and go. I'm in love with my hair at this point.
